07 February 2014

Equiniti 360° Clinical has appointed Dr Virginia Clough as associate medical director.

Dr Clough will be responsible for supporting both organisations and individuals with their revalidation. She was a former medical director and responsible officer at the Countess of Chester Foundation Trust until 2012, and is a Revalidation Support Team (RST) level 2 appraisal trainer.

Jo Parker-Swift, chief executive, Equiniti 360° Clinical, commented: “Virginia is a highly respected consultant haematologist, medical director and responsible officer at one of the UK’s successful acute trusts. Virginia’s direct experience will help Equiniti 360° Clinical provide an even better service to organisations and individuals both now and in the future. This will help Equiniti to refine and develop the revalidation systems for both doctors and nurses.”

Dr Virginia Clough commented, "I have worked with Equiniti 360° Clinical for many years and am now delighted to join their team. I hope I will bring the experience I have gained over recent years as medical director and responsible officer, to assist and advise doctors as they prepare for their own revalidation and help with the forthcoming revalidation of nurses".
