Equiniti International Payments has won a contract to provide services to EPS (Expatriate Management Services)

Equiniti International Payments, part of the Equiniti Group, has won a three year contract to provide a broad range of payments services to Expatriate Management Services (EMS) enabling the successful delivery of payments to expats globally.

EMS specialises in global payroll, international payments and end to end business processes, including international assignment management.

EMS has partnered with Equiniti as substantial value in several key areas of expertise have been noted:

  • Equiniti’s up-front, pre-trade validation engine predicts and ultimately avoids costly errors due to rejections and resubmissions. Integration between a payroll and a payment delivery provider provides significant automation, enabling faster processing, error reduction and further cost and time efficiencies.

  • By using Single European Payments Area (SEPA) and Automated Clearing House (ACH) channels, Equiniti’s solution minimises costs and delivery times. Error rates are reduced by leveraging direct clearing systems in as many markets as possible, reducing wire fees and intermediary bank charges.

  • The physical pooling of currencies prior to delivery also reduces additional transaction charges, timelines and cost of late payments, underlining the capability and savings that can be realised by individual clients. The integration of EMS’ payroll technology and Equiniti’s payment platform ensures a robust audit trail and reconciliation process.

Aran Brown, Sales Director at Equiniti International Payments, comments: “The global economic recovery is gaining momentum and driving new opportunities across borders. With global mobility comes the demand for resilient payment systems on which companies and their employees can depend. We are proud to have been selected by EMS as their partner in such a vibrant market”.
