Equiniti appoints Lucy Dimes as Chief Operating Officer

Lucy Dimes has been newly appointed as Chief Operating Officer, reporting to Chief Executive Guy Wakeley.

Lucy is responsible for the management of Equiniti's business divisions and operations supporting a client base of 1,700 which includes over 50% of the FTSE 100 and significant public sector organisations.  Her operational responsibilities include managing the end to end customer experience, all customer service channels, processes and operations, technology platforms, our off shore centre in Chennai, and group IT and project management.

 

Lucy has been a board level executive for over fifteen years, leading organisations through transformational growth, turnarounds and alliances in the technology and services arena.  Lucy joins most recently from Alcatel-Lucent, the global communications provider, where she was CEO for UK and Ireland.  During this time she was responsible for significantly improving business performance and transforming relationships with clients including Vodafone, BT, Sky and Virgin Media.

Prior to that she held a number of senior roles during her 19 year career at BT culminating in Managing Director Group & Openreach Operations. Lucy is a Non-Executive Director for Berendsen PLC, has an MBA from London Business School and is an alumna of the Harvard Business School 'Global Women Leaders' programme.
