Equiniti appoints Tim Miller as Non-Executive Director and Lucy Dimes as Executive Director

Lucy Dimes and Tim Miller join the Equiniti Board

Tim Miller has been appointed to the Board of Equiniti as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.  Lucy Dimes, who joined Equiniti in March 2014 as Chief Operating Officer, is also appointed to the Board.

Tim has extensive experience as a Board level executive across a range of sectors.  During his fourteen years at Standard Chartered Bank, he held a number of Director level positions with global responsibility for areas including human resources, compliance, audit, assurance, financial crime, and legal functions.   Current Non-Executive Director roles include acting as Non-Executive Chairman of the Girls Day School Trust, Chairman of the Governing Body of the School of Oriental and African Studies and Chairman of Optitune plc, a cleantech company with R&D and manufacturing capabilities in nano-technology.  He was previously a Non-Executive Director of recruitment services provider Michael Page Group plc.  Tim is also visiting Professor of Business Management and Strategy at the Nottingham Business School and is the general secretary responsible for the London Society of Rugby Football Union Referees.

Lucy joined Equiniti from Alcatel-Lucent where she was Chief Executive UK & Ireland.  Prior to that she had a 19 year career at BT which culminated in the role of Managing Director Group & Openreach Operations.  Lucy has brought further focus on operational excellence since joining Equiniti, establishing six group centres to enhance delivery as Equiniti continues to win new business and extend its range of products and services.  Lucy has also been instrumental in driving Equiniti's capital investment programme in technology and platforms to deepen tech services and fintech market leadership as well as strengthening relationships with clients which include 50% of the FTSE100.

Lucy is a Non-Executive Director for Berendsen PLC and a Trustee for the Garden Bridge Trust.
