Paul Matthews joins the Executive Management team

Equiniti has appointed Paul Matthews as part of the Executive Management team.

Paul joined Equiniti in 2011 as Managing Director. Joining the Executive Management team in his new role, Paul will be reporting to Guy Wakeley. His background and knowledge of the securities industry brings an important skill set to Equiniti’s senior team, helping shape the offer to listed companies both in the UK and globally.

Paul is responsible for working with the UK’s leading businesses to deliver successful transactions including retail and institutional IPO’s and corporate actions for a client base covering 50% of the FTSE100 and circa 40% of the FTSE250. He is responsible for delivering growth – organically by cultivating deeper relationships with listed clients and through acquisition. 

Paul’s stock market experience spans 30 years. He leads Equiniti’s partnership with the Global Share Alliance, a worldwide network of businesses providing registry and related services across diverse equity markets. Prior to joining Equiniti in 2011, Paul was a Managing Director at the investment bank JPMorgan Cazenove a career spanning over 25 years. During this time, he worked on a multitude of the largest and most complex corporate transactions, encompassing both UK and cross- border deals including a large number of IPOs.
