People

We want work to be interesting, provide challenge, and allow people to develop skills. We want colleagues to enjoy coming to work, to have a voice that is heard up to Board level, and to share in our success. That success depends on attracting the best people and enabling them to reach their potential.

Supporting Young People

Equiniti have been partnering with The Prince’s Trust to deliver work experience for young people since 2016, and have run successful programmes in Crawley, Lancing, Belfast and Birmingham. Nominated for the Breaking Barriers Award at Prince’s Trust Partnership Awards 2018 and 2019.

Equiniti actively seeks to build links with local schools, providing opportunities for students to visit our offices and meet colleagues, and for colleagues to support local students in employability activities.

Diversity and Inclusion

At Equiniti, Diversity and Inclusion focuses upon understanding, appreciating and valuing 'difference', both visible & invisible. The differences our employees bring enrich and enhance our culture, creating one that is open, inclusive and reflective of the diverse society in which we all live and work.

We have a strategic Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) plan in place to ensure all colleagues are able to thrive at work regardless of any difference, supported by a Global Diversity & Inclusion Council and four employee-led networks. Highlights of the work done by our colleague networks includes:

  • Joining Stonewall’s Diversity Champions Programme
  • Representing Equiniti at Worthing’s inaugural Pride
  • Signing the Time to Change Employer Pledge on World Mental Health Day in 2018
  • Training our first two cohorts of Mental Health First Aiders
  • Joining the Business Disability Forum in 2019
  • Celebrating International Women’s Day with our own radio show
