TIGT decided it could offer participants of the scheme greater functionality and an enhanced service via a customised Investment Account from Equiniti Investment Services rather than through its traditional Investment Trust Savings Scheme.
The 500 plus participants, with combined portfolios of around 5 million shares, now have access to greater functionality as well as an optional Stocks and Shares ISA.
Mark Taylor, Managing Director of Investment Services at Equiniti said: “We are delighted that Troy Income & Growth Trust plc has recognised our expertise and awarded us the contract. It is an example of how we can work with companies to not only streamline costs and processes but enhance the service they can offer.“
Ronnie Hanna, Chairman, Troy Income & Growth Trust said: “We were looking for a way to create efficiencies without losing the advantages offered to our participants. Equiniti has in fact enabled us to offer additional benefits, at the same time as reducing our administrative burden and keeping our overheads down. Importantly, the change has been well received by our participants."
