Introducing Mattie Vaughn, PMA Client Service Consultant, Corporate Actions!
Share about your role at EQ.
I specialize in Private Mergers and Acquisitions (PMA) as a Client Service Consultant (CSC) on the Corporate Actions (CA) Team. My role allows me to gain a thorough understanding of CA/PMA activities and overall knowledge of the interrelated functions of the departments we often collaborate with. As a collective, we bring the phrase “Teamwork makes the dream work” to life! With our expertise and dedication combined, we do our best to provide our shareholders with a World Class Customer/Client Experience, and I’m proud to be a part of the mission.
What is something special about your location?
I am usually in the Mendota Heights, MN location, but due to the pandemic, I work from home. Did you know Mendota Heights is a 1st ring southern suburb of the Twin Cities? I didn’t, but I suppose I’ll believe it since it’s on Google lol. I’m sure most of you know this beautiful land of 10,000 lakes is home to the MN Vikings, but did you know our neighbor Eagan is home to the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center? The Vikings headquarters and practice facility are located there, and they’ve hosted the Annual Pre-Season Training Camp Event since their grand opening in 2018. #SKOL
What has happened in your career so far?
My journey began at Wells Fargo in 2012, where I started as a Teller in the Roseville branch. Over the last ten years, I've held many titles with Wells Fargo/Equiniti, such as Account Manager, New Client Coordinator, Operations Securities Service Specialist, and PMA Operations Specialist. I was fortunate to be part of the acquisition from Wells Fargo to Equiniti, and needless to say, each position has been an essential stepping stone for my current position as a CSC.
What do you love about your job?
Despite the trials and tribulations of the pandemic, EQ has shown resilience and continued to come up with innovative ideas to keep up with the industry. I love the versatility and support for growth within, and I look forward to the possibilities of the future. With that being said, I can’t forget to mention the people. We are a diverse, educated, intellectual bunch of individuals with extraordinary personalities, and we are absolutely the best part of EQ!
What's your biggest EQ achievement?
My ten-year anniversary was May 15, 2022; I’m very grateful for every lesson, opportunity, and everything in between. I wouldn’t be where or who I am today without them, and being recognized as an EQ+AST Expert is the cherry on top. I am truly honored!
Share a fun fact about yourself.
I have dabbled in many activities, such as swimming, ice skating, drawing, karate, and my new found love of kickboxing, to name a few. I'd love to say I'm an expert in them, but that would be an overstatement lol. Outside of work, you might find me at one of the many venues in the Twin Cities, working security at an event, or possibly at the Great MN Get-Together working the register at Dino's Gyros. Wherever I may be, it brings me joy to see people happy and smiling! "Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, and how you leave others feeling after having an experience with you becomes your trademark." -Anonymous
