Tom will head up EQ Proxy, its proxy solicitation business, which launched earlier this year, and has already supported clients on 25 campaigns. EQ offers a full suite of proxy services, including proxy solicitation and consultation for annual meetings, special meetings, contests for control, and conversions.
Tom has significant experience in the sector, having worked in the proxy solicitation and corporate governance industry for the past 30 years, giving guidance and support to some of America’s largest companies with annual meetings, shareholder approvals for corporate actions and high profile investor engagement needs. He has worked at several of the larger proxy firms during his career.
Tom is an active member of several key institutions including, the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals (SCSGP), the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), Securities Transfer Association (STA) the Shareholder Services Association (SSA) and Edison Electric Institute (EEI).
With a wealth of experience in the proxy sector, Tom will strengthen EQ’s knowledge and capability to enhance their proxy solicitation and corporate governance business.
