EQ hires David Becker as General Counsel

Equiniti Group, the multinational provider of transfer agent services, is delighted to announce the appointment of David Becker as General Counsel for Equiniti Trust Company, the regulated entity of its US business EQ.

David will serve in the position of General Counsel, in addition to his existing role as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. 

Prior to joining EQ, David served as Compliance and Risk Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers and was previously the Chief Compliance Officer for American Stock Transfer and Trust Company.

In addition to his 30 years of experience in the securities industry as a lawyer and compliance officer, David has also been active in the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) and the Securities Transfer Association (STA) where he was the founding (and current) co-chairperson of the Compliance Committee.
