Jo Palmer is the Chief Executive Officer for EQ Investment Services, and President and CEO of Equiniti Trust Company, LLC. In her roles, Jo leads EQ’s core transfer agency and share registration services, as well as a suite of businesses connecting capital, governance and communications such as proxy services and private company solutions. Jo is also the Managing Director of EQ U.S., overseeing local execution, acting as the primary contact for client relationships, regulatory liaison, colleagues, and culture.
Jo brings decades of executive and non-executive leadership experience to the organisation, having led businesses at the highest level in global financial services firms, and beyond. Jo operated for 20 years as an executive for Lloyd’s Banking Group in exacting roles in high-risk environments including Market Operations, Global Payments, major restructuring initiatives, JV and M&A activities. She has spent most of her career in highly regulated environments such as Life and Pensions, Retail and Commercial Banking, Central Banking, and banking industry infrastructure companies. She has served as a Trustee for charitable trusts for over 12 years and has held non-executive positions for 20+ years including as Chair of Medway NHS Foundation Trust. She has cultivated a unique financial services expertise, setting high standards in financial services and a global customer-first mindset.
