Equiniti Named One Of Financial Services’ Top 3 Best Employers In New FT Ranking

Thursday, 27 February 2025

Equiniti, the UK’s leading share registrar and pensions administrator, is delighted to have ranked second in the financial services sector in the Financial Times and Statista’s UK Best Employers list for 2025. It also ranked as 26th best employer in the whole of the UK (500 companies ranked).

The UK's Best Employers 2025 is based on an independent survey of over 20,000 employees working part or full-time for companies and institutions employing at least 250 employees in the United Kingdom. A range of factors such as employee satisfaction, workplace culture, employee benefits, and opportunities for career development were taken into consideration.

After combining the survey results with extensive secondary research, the 500 highest rated companies are awarded as UK's Best Employers 2025.

Equiniti, a leading provider of tech-enabled shareholder, retirement and remediation services, supports 33 million people worldwide. In the UK, it provides shareholder services for 53% of the FTSE 100 and pays one in three UK pensions. Equiniti recently certified for the third year running as a 2025 Top Employer in the top 25% of the UK, India and U.S., showcasing its commitment to a better world of work. It has also received national awards for its approach to learning and development, health and wellbeing and engagement.

Chief People Officer, Andrew Stephenson commented:

“We’re delighted that our colleagues have ranked EQ so highly within this prestigious survey from the FT, straight off the back of the Top Employers audit where we certified 6th among Top Employers in the UK. It's rewarding to know that the many people improvements we’ve delivered, like improving employee journeys, launching a new intranet and strengthening our colleague networks is reflected by the results of this FT survey.”
