We like to be part of the dialogue, and to put words into action, all EQ colleagues are given two days a year to contribute to a cause of their choice.

Supporting Schools in India

Supporting learning at Urugahalli Government School, Ramanagar

In partnership with the Indian Roots Foundation, our volunteers helped transform facilities at Urugahalli Government School. Our work focused on renovating two classrooms, restrooms, and a kitchen facility, creating a safer, more supportive environment for over 250 students across the school and nearby communities. The project, which took around two months to complete, addressed critical hygiene and infrastructure needs.

Improving sanitary facilities at Sharada Shikshana Samsthe, Mysore

Working with NGO Namma Sangha, 13 EQ India volunteers transformed the school’s toilet facilities, rolling up their sleeves to renovate and refresh this essential space that 200 students rely on every day. Their efforts not only improved hygiene and sanitation, but also helped create a more comfortable, dignified environment where students can focus on learning.

Almost 8000 volunteer hours given in 2025

At EQ, colleagues receive two days a year to support their local communities. We’re proud of everyone involved. In 2025 our colleagues took part in many excellent initiatives. Using EQ volunteer days, colleagues collectively contributed 8000 hours to good causes.

Projects included supporting schools, general gardening and maintenance activities at local clubs and hospices, marshalling at charity events and taking part in some much-needed beach cleans.

Raising money from unwanted shares with UK charity, ShareGift

Our partnership with Sharegift has facilitated the sale of unwanted shares, raising millions of pounds for good causes over the last decade.

EQ gives its UK shareholders an option to donate to charity when they get in touch with us to make any changes to their holdings. EQ then directs any unwanted shares and cash entitlements to ShareGift.
