Craig Smiley joined Equiniti in 2022 to lead its transition into an agile product-led organisation. In his role as Chief Product and Technology Officer, Craig leads EQ’s Product and Engineering teams, building and developing the teams and products that power Equiniti’s specialist solutions.
Prior to Equiniti, Craig worked in product and engineering transformation leadership roles spanning the fintech, media, property, payments and pharmaceutical sectors, including as Chief Product Officer (UK and Europe) at Worldpay and digital transformation roles at EMI Music and BBC.
Craig’s leadership style stems from his passion for teamwork and close interaction with customers using his products, particularly being fond of the content in “Don’t Make me think”. He studied Mechanical Engineering at Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand.
