Following the publication of the Investment Association’s 2025 Principles of Remuneration, we launched a survey to gauge the evolving market practice on employee share plans by canvassing the views of those managing employee share plans in UK listed companies.

We wanted to gauge the evolving market practice on employee share plans by canvassing UK listed companies and understand how they are responding to certain changes in the IA’s Principles looking at some of the administrative changes being considered. The four specific areas we surveyed were:

• plan renewal.
