Equiniti Completes Successful “Get Into Customer Services” Outreach Programme For Young People In Birmingham

Three offered full-time employment with Equiniti following the fifth “Movement into Work” initiative the company has operated in partnership with the Prince’s Trust

Equiniti, the FTSE-listed share services and fintech business, is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of its fifth Prince’s Trust Movement into Work programme. 

This most recent iteration saw seven people in the Birmingham area aged between 16 and 30 join Equiniti’s Customer Experience Centre for a month’s work experience. The Centre handles Shareholder and Customer enquiries for Equiniti with the team responsible for dealing with and resolving customer complaints.

The programme came to an end on Friday 10 August with a celebration event hosted jointly by Equiniti and the Prince’s Trust to recognise the achievements and hard work of the seven participants. Since then three participants have started full-time employment with Equiniti.

The voluntary collaboration with the Prince’s Trust is dedicated to tackling youth unemployment by providing high quality training and work experience and is endorsed by the UK Government.  

Tamara Spokes, one of the Programme’s successful participants, commented her experience of the programme and moving into full-time employment with Equiniti:

“I love acting as the front line of assistance for the company, communicating with shareholders, assisting with their queries and making their customer journey smoother.
