Equiniti Group plc, the FTSE-listed share services and fintech business, is delighted to confirm its ongoing role as share registrar to Aston Martin Lagonda following its IPO.
Aston Martin Lagonda listed on the UK Main Market with a market capitalisation of approximately £4.33bn, making it the largest listing so far in 2018.
Utilising its bespoke and market leading online subscription portal, Equiniti, acting as registrar and receiving agent, supported the delivery of 57m shares to institutional and retail investors, including Aston Martin owners and employees.
Equiniti has now assisted 19 companies to float on the London Stock Exchange this year including cyber security group Avast (£2.3bn) and high-street retailer theWorks.co.uk (£100mn).
This year Equiniti has already exceeded the number of UK listings it delivered in 2017.
Paul Matthews, EQ Boardroom Chief Executive Officer, Equiniti, was delighted to work with such a prestigious client and hopes Aston Martin Lagonda will thrive as a public company, commenting:
“Aston Martin Lagonda is an iconic British brand recognised all over the world and to be appointed to administer their share services over the course of the IPO and beyond is a real vote of confidence in Equiniti’s market proposition.
“We have worked incredibly hard both at building our pedigree to secure such prestigious tenders and throughout the flotation process with Aston Martin Lagonda to ensure the most prominent IPO of 2018 was delivered without a hitch. We are proud that when the UK’s most high profile companies decide to offer employee and customer offers, they appoint Equiniti as the recognised leader in their market.
“We will continue to assist them as share registrar and wish them every success as a listed company – an exciting and challenging development as we well know from our recent IPO experience.”
