Making The Pensions Dashboard Connection

Wednesday, 17 September 2025

Following years of planning, EQ have been preparing to connect to the UK’s Pensions Dashboard – a major government-led initiative designed to give people a secure, single place online to view all of their pensions. The dashboard will help individuals take control of their retirement planning, reduce lost pensions, and aims to improve financial wellbeing.

We are pleased to announce that EQ is now successfully connected to the Pensions Dashboard. Even more exciting, we have now connected our very first clients, marking an important milestone in our journey supporting our clients and their scheme members. This achievement reflects the hard work and collaboration across our teams, ensuring our systems, support teams and processes are ready, and we are fully compliant for this significant industry change.

EQ’s focus now turns to a phased roll-out for the rest of our clients who are using us to help them connect to the Pensions Dashboard, as well as supporting clients who are already connected in readiness for the general public accessing Pensions Dashboards.

This means we can implement learnings and give us a chance to refine processes as we expand across our client base. For colleagues, this means continued involvement in supporting clients, monitoring performance and improving our processes along the way.

Looking beyond EQ, The Pensions Dashboard Programme (PDP) is conducting phased consumer testing of the Money and Pensions Service Pensions Service (MaPS) Dashboard. This will be an important step towards the public launch of their dashboard which is expected later in 2026.

Successfully connecting to the Pensions Dashboard is a major moment for EQ and for our clients. It reflects the hard work and expertise of so many colleagues across the business – we couldn’t have reached this milestone without their commitment and energy.

However, there is still more to be delivered; from connecting more clients across 2025 and 2026, to supporting clients who are already live and whose members may be taking part in the consumer testing, through to ensuring we’re geared up for the full launch of the MaPS Pensions Dashboard later in 2026.

Together, we are not only supporting our clients but also playing an active role in shaping the future of pensions accessibility in the UK.

Reaching this Pensions Dashboard milestone is a testament to the team, working with the PDP as volunteer participants to develop and influence the process as this project developed.  This advancement ensures EQ and its clients are at the fore front to ensure we are dashboard ready.
