Secure Mailock is an email system that encrypts messages and attachments when you receive or send emails to EQ. It works by sending you a secure link over email, from Equiniti to your normal email address. When you click that link it takes you to the secure email system and sends a six-digit code either as an email or as a text message to your mobile phone (to the number you provide to EQ specifically for this purpose). You use the code to access the secure email system where you can read, reply and upload documents with confidence.
A simple and easy user guide for customers is provided before any secure messages are sent to help explain what to expect and what to do.
