EQ Experts Series - John Graham

Monday, 13 April 2026

We caught up with John Graham as part of The EQ Experts series that spotlights our talented colleagues here at Equiniti.

In this Q&A John Graham, Senior Meeting Management Specialist here at EQ lets us into his world and gives us insight into his career and what it's like working for EQ.

Introduction and what your role is at EQ

I have worked at EQ for seven and a half years, all of which have been spent as a member of the AGM Team. I started as a Meeting Management Specialist, and after 2 years, was promoted to a Senior Meeting Management Specialist. In my role we are dedicated to the delivery of shareholder meetings for our corporate clients, which entails the overseeing of data production, documentation drafting and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. This requires strong attention to detail and collaborative approach to ensure each meeting runs smoothly.

What office are you located at?

My local office is Highdown House in Worthing. This is particularly useful for me as I live close which makes the morning commute and school run far more manageable.

What’s happened in your career up to this point?

When I started at EQ in 2018 as a Meeting Management Specialist, I had a portfolio of clients to service. From this, I progressed to a Senior Meeting Management Specialist within 2 years, with this came more responsibility and a larger and more diverse portfolio and the opportunity to attend client AGMs in person. Over the past couple of years, I have become trusted to train new members, which has strengthened my leadership and mentoring skills whilst supporting the wider team’s development.

What do you like about EQ?

I like the fact I get to work together with a group of talented and encouraging colleagues. I have also been lucky enough to be afforded many opportunities over the years to improve both professionally and personally.

What's your biggest EQ achievement?

Being able to assist and contribute to the streamlining of the AGM Team from two separate internal teams, to one multi-skilled crossed trained team. I was involved in meetings whereby decisions were made on how the team would function and aided in providing the necessary training to make this change possible and seamless from a client’s perspective.

What are you looking forward to in the future at EQ?

The ability to continue to develop within EQ and further drive the digital enhancements that we are able to offer to clients, to make processes more efficient for our clients and EQ.

Do you have a fun fact to share?

I have a rather strange phobia, Sparkalaphobia. So yeah, I am scared of glitter.

A big thank you to John for sharing his thoughts with us.
