Lauren Gabriel Senior Client Manager Introduction and what your role is at EQ
I serve as the Senior Client Manager for EQ Connect, our newly launched product, where I lead knowledge expertise, contribute to product development, and drive client support and growth.
What office are you located at?
I work out of the London office, and one of my favourite parts of the day is the walk back to London Bridge station. Passing by the city’s landmarks never loses its charm - they always feel timeless to me.
What’s happened in your career up to this point?
I spent around five years in London working across two Private Equity firms before deciding to relocate closer to my family in East Sussex. Shortly after, I joined Hastings Direct in their Investor Relations department. During my time there, I regularly used the IR InTouch CRM platform, as Hastings Direct was a client of RD:IR.
Following Hastings Direct’s transition to private ownership, I began exploring new opportunities within Investor Relations and successfully applied to join the Investor Relations Services team led by Isabel Richardson. For the past three years, I have been part of EQ, gaining experience across a variety of roles within the organisation.
What do you like about EQ?
Colleagues. That’s the word that sums it up for me. Across EQ Advisory and the wider EQ business, people are consistently willing to help and support one another. Collaboration is one of our core EQ values, and you can see it in action every day throughout the organisation.
What's your biggest EQ achievement?
The recent launch of EQ Connect – a project that I have spent two years working on.
What are you looking forward to in the future at EQ?
I’m eager to kick off the development pipeline for EQ Connect and begin integrating it with the rest of the EQ product suite. The team and I are brimming with ideas that will elevate the platform even further.
Do you have a fun fact to share?
I am a keen runner and have competed in over 10 marathons. My marathon PB is 3 hours and 26 minutes.
