Mandie Edmunds Senior Meeting Management Specialist, EQ Introduction and what your role is at EQ
I have been with Equiniti for 20 years, beginning my career in the Investor Relations Team, where I supported clients with the issuing of s793 notices (requests for information about interests in company shares). In 2012, I moved to the AGM Team within Meeting Management, supporting a large and diverse portfolio of clients in preparation for their Annual General Meetings—one of the most significant events in their corporate calendar.
I also attend several of Equiniti’s high-profile client meetings, ensuring the smooth and professional delivery of these.
What office are you located at?
I am based at Highdown House, which has recently undergone a fantastic refurbishment with new breakout spaces which have created a much brighter, more modern environment. Offering great spots for collaboration—or simply taking a quiet moment during a busy day.
What’s happened in your career up to this point?
My career began in 2005 as agency staff, and within five months I secured a permanent position in the Investor Relations Team following a recruitment event. In 2012, I moved to the AGM Team within Meeting Management, later progressing to Senior Meeting Management Specialist.
Beyond managing a substantial client portfolio and attending AGMs, I’ve taken pride in supporting new team members—helping them settle in, build confidence, and grow in their roles.
Following the 2025 AGM Team restructure, I now serve as a Senior Meeting Management Specialist and Admin Support. In addition to managing my own external stakeholder responsibilities, I support the Admin Team with the production of shareholder data and Proxy Voting Reports in preparation for AGMs.
What do you like about EQ?
Equiniti has given me opportunities to continually develop—both personally and professionally. I’ve been able to build my skills not only through formal development but also by learning from the talented colleagues I’ve worked alongside over the years.
What's your biggest EQ achievement?
One of my proudest moments was when I was invited to attend and represent the company at the Annual Investor Relations Awards, giving me the opportunity to meet key individuals from our client organisations as well as meeting members of FTSE Company Secretariat teams. I also had the honour of attended the Equiniti Awards for Excellence, where the AGM Team received an award in the Customer Service Superheroes category.
What are you looking forward to in the future at EQ?
Digitisation is now a major focus, and it’s interesting to experience how we are advancing within the AGM environment, through efficient processes and improved client facing solutions.
Do you have a fun fact to share?
As a keen cyclist, I joined a group of friends from my local gym to cycle to Paris in aid of St Barnabas, raising £15,000 for the charity. It was an incredible challenge — and I quickly discovered just how many hills stand between here and Paris.
A big thank you to Mandie for sharing her thoughts with us.
