In 2020, the push for diversity in public companies is coming from investors of many kinds: institutional investors, including public pension funds, socially responsible investors, religious institutions, as well as civil rights groups. While most effort is for gender diversity, there is an increased effort regarding racial and ethnic diversity as well.
